There is really not enough room between the library and the elementary school for another school building (parking and transportation issues would be a big problem, too)...and besides, I think most people agree that space should be left alone, undeveloped. It's a nice "green space" in the neighborhood and a great place for the kids to run around.

I wonder if any of the land on Sutherland Ave. between the National Guard and the Earth Fare shopping center (where the old student apartments buildings are) could be purchased form UT?

thanks for the info ... we just signed the petition for a more local middle school. A smaller, closer middle school would be great!
