August Numbers

Three homes in Sequoyah Hills transfered ownership in August.  The average price per square foot for these transactions was $146 as per information in the Knoxville MLS.    In 2010, four homes were sold in the month of August with a price per square foot of $138. We continue to see stability, if not growth, in the Sequoyah Hills housing market.  Prices and volume year-over-year have bottomed and are even showing some minor gains.  Watch the overall economy for indications as to whether we've seen the bottom for the last time, but with interest rates where they are, it continues to be a great time to buy...
