May Numbers

May saw only one home in Sequoyah Hills transfer ownership.  The average price per square foot for the May transactions was $159 as per information in the Knoxville MLS.    In 2010, four homes were sold in the month of May with an average price per square foot of $215, although there was one large sale that skewed that number much higher than it would have been otherwise.  Volume continues on it's downward trend. Activity continues to pick up, but the selling cycle is taking longer, leaving homes on the market on average for well over six months...
